Assessment Methods

To assure a well trained and competent lawyer, the School uses take-away assignments to build research skills, sit-in tests to test mastery of the law under pressure, oral tests to ensure students 'walk' with the law, and Moot Court presentations to develop lawyering skills.

Practical Attachments & Moot Court

Students undertake a minimum eight-week general industry attachment at the end of second year, followed by a minimum eight-week Judicial Attachment at the Law Courts at the end of third year. Between the first and second semesters of fourth year, students may also take an international attachment of one to three months with partner institutions in Canada, the USA, Europe and Africa, alongside national and international Moot Court competitions.

Our programmes are tailored to provide holistic learning and a Christ-centred approach and contribute to the achievement of the vision and mission of Daystar University
